My education plans
Recently I began taking a special training course. In the course I'll learn what to say
during a job interview. When the course ends next month, I'm going to apply for a full-time
job at a department store. If they hire me, I'll be able to earn a good salary and make extra
money working overtime, too.
I plan to save money and study at a university in a couple of years.
Some of my friends aren't planning to study, but I think it's important to go. It's not enough
just to have a high school education.
When I was in high school, I had to learn many subjects I didn't like. But when I go to studt
at the university, I'll be able to choose the courses I want. I'm interested in learning
business. Maybe one day I'll have my own compagny. Then I can interview people and give them
jobs!
Dear Karen,
Guess what! I've just got a job at the university library.
All the other part-time people are university students.
I'm going to be working evenings, and I'll be have one day off a week, probably Mondays.
I'm intersted in becoming a liberalian, so I can learn about libarary work while I'm
actually working.
Write and tell me about you summer plans.
Love,
Jane
